Be sure to mark you calendars for November 5 & 6, 2011 to enjoy the 6th Annual Moss Rock Festival.

Nature

Nature surrounds us everywhere, but at The Preserve the secrets and sweetness of nature are especially abundant. That is why nature is one of the key elemental threads woven into the festival's footprint through its programming, outreach, and mission. So grab your friends and family, and get outside to the Moss Rock Festival and appreciate, marvel and explore all that this Hoover neighborhood has to offer. Enjoy nature through our nature cakes design challenge, hikes, 5K bike ride and by just being in the great outdoors at a 250-acre preserve.

Eco-Ideas

Moss Rock Festival is a platform for the creative exchange of ideas that support a greener and more sustainable future. There will be 25-eco exhibitors onsite to educate festival goers about emerging eco-friendly innovations and new ways to live, work and play in tandem with nature. With exhibitors ranging from LEED (green building) to fuel-efficient car companies, it's a chance for people in the community to learn about new products and businesses that provide simple lifestyle solutions and environmentally conscious ways of living.

Art and Design

Art + design start conversation, provide inspiration, and challenge us to feel, think, act and appreciate. Moss Rock Festival gives artists and designers an avenue to showcase how they have, can and will push the boundaries of what is possible to build a more sustainable model for a harmonious existence with our planet. The festival offers more than 100 artists booths, with artwork that focuses on nature and eco-ideas, craft activities for children, and design challenges for all ages that encourage innovation and environmental conservation
